NONAME asked: I make too much money to get health insurance from the state. Is there anyway to see a doctor and maybe get prescriptions or anything like that? I don’t have money to pay for anything really.

chibigenesis asked:

I don’t know if it’s possible for someone to get health insurance to cover them if they have a problem with substance abuse. Like, if you tried to get insurance, and then you wanted to use the insurance to pay for substance abuse treatment, wouldn’t they count it as a “pre-existing condition” or something and deny you coverage?

So basically, would it be possible to get health insurance and then ask the health insurance to pay for your substance abuse treatment if you had the substance abuse problem before you signed up for the insurance?

Would you have to ask the individual insurance company before you actually applied for coverage?

Confused asked: I currently am receiving quotes for medical insurance and I have this one policy quote that does not list a deductible, but it does list this Major Medical Deductible for $3500.00 & total out of pocket $6000.00? What does this mean? Is this for Emergency care only?
