Look, it's undeniable we need healthcare reform. But please don't mislead the people by inflating the number of uninsured! If you'd bother to read authoritative sources on uninsured Americans, the number is much closer to one-third of 47 million. Just for reference and truth's sake. You don't need to lie to get your agenda through.

Maybe would show provide for the general welfare of all citizens like more civilized nations do or like the constitution says. The government of the people, by the people should work for the general welfare of the people. We are the United States not the Each Man On His Own states.

so the government should provide everything? maybe the government should provide me with a job, money, a house, etc. the constitution does not mention health care, dont twist the words to ake it sound like it does, health care should be private, government will hinder the advancements of the health care system by limiting profits

I just read a news report today that the Health Net insurance company was ordered by an arbitration judge to pay a woman $9 million for canceling her policy while she was undergoing ****** cancer treatment. This is truly a happy ending to her situation. We do have a crisis in this country. Insurance companies are pulling this crap all the time. I wonder how many people have died after having their insurance canceled when they needed to use it. It's a damn disgrace. All for profit.

no but not every one can afford to pay 500 dollars or more a month for health insurance that doesn't cover anything leading people to not be able to pay any other bills. the government actually spends more then half of the money we pay on things not related to health insurance. its pathetic. not only does it put people one sickness away from bankruptcy but it also just gives more money to the goverment
